Olivia Zimmerman is an Audience Development & Social Media Strategist based in Washington, DC.
My name is Olivia Zimmerman, and I’m your go-to girl. I specialize in graphic design, creative direction, and social media strategy, specifically for Instagram. I create unique visual assets, curate images, and write social copy to attract a brand or publication’s target audience. I contact influencers and content creators to provide interactive Instagram Stories. On the back end, I monitor Insights and cultivate multi-platform competitive analysis reports based on competing brands and/or publications.
I am first and foremost a Black women -- diversity, representation, and equity are my focus in every project I work on.
I spend most of my time drawing pretty black girls in Procreate, creating moodboards on Pinterest, or watching my favorite Anime shows.
I’m a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, specializing in Magazine Journalism, and African American Studies.
